Held sales (park and resume carts)

Hold sale saves the basket so you can serve someone else or fix a shelf issue:

1. On New sale, add the items to the cart, then choose Hold sale from the cart area.
2. Open Held sales from POS to see parked baskets.
3. Resume brings the basket back so you can take payment; discard if the customer cancelled.

Important: On many setups today, held carts are saved in this browser on this device only. If someone clears browsing data/cookies or you switch to another computer, held sales there can disappear. For training: do not wipe the browser during a shift if you rely on holds, and reopen the same browser tab/session until those customers pay.
